WHAT ARE THE STATE
GOVERNMENTS?
The three State
Governments are responsible for some minor tasks, such
as infraestructure, leisure and civil security. Each
State has it's own Governor and a Council with the same functions
as the Senate, both direct-elected for five-year
terms.
WHO ARE THE STATE GOVERNORS?
The current Governors
are: Extremo: Shuan Alberto Gonsalet
Guetaso: Daví Silva
Camões Bajapez: Enrique de Sousa Perez
CITY GOVERNMENTS
Apart from the State
Governments, all the cities have their own direct elected for five-year
terms mayors. Also, all the cities with a population over one million
inhabittants have their own Councils with similar functions as the
States'. Currently, only the cities of Porto Capital and Oran have
Councils. |
